The following case study is an example of a real life situation PlanTech found itself in with one of our customers. It details the problem and what we did to resolve it.
No PA system? No problem!
A school we provided IT support for moved their entire campus a few years ago. They moved for a more strategic location in the city, but also because their old building was made of concrete and nearly impossible to upgrade. The campus they moved to was much newer than their old building, but still needed renovations. One point was a concern with the lack of a PA system throughout the various buildings.
They posed the question to us, and after researching the topic, we were able to come up with the perfect answer. In addition to a PA system, this school also needed wireless throughout. We were able to tackle both needs in one solution: a system that doubled as both a wireless access point and a PA loud speaker. Now not only did every teacher have excellent wireless in their classroom, they also had their much-needed PA speaker for everything from morning announcements to emergency situations.
The school was very impressed by the research we did on the subject as well as our out-of-the-box thinking to come up with a system that solved more than one of their needs. In addition, it saved them thousands of dollars over installing two systems to accomplish these same needs. We were glad the school was pleased, but this is an example of how we approach all problems we come across, researching the best solution for your educational needs, not simply suggesting the technologies we already know.
